Synchro?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, so the gears are not going in easy. In greek thst would be the syncrhronizer, dont know what is called in english though? Anyone understands my chinese greek?

I'd check the gear linkage first, there's a few videos on YouTube on how to do it

Will try that tonight, never done it before

If its problems with all the gears I would suspect the clutch.

Is it all gears? Reverse usually (but not always) plays up first if it's the cables.

Well, when driven sensinsibly they go in without scratching but slightly delayed compare to other friend's cars. It will go in reverse no problem. Clutch is a VR6 with G60 single mass flywheel and custom made 6-puck disc to withstand wellover 40kg torque, mine is about 32 only

2nd gear up to 6100rpm, it will NO WAY go in 3rd, need to wait for the revs to come down

Does sound like a syncro then.
