Hi

 

I tried to put some MP3 files onto a usb stick and when plugged into my Rapid Elegance radio it wouldn't recognise the files.

 

Do I need to do something different ?

 

Also what lead do I need to plus an ipod mini into the radio to play it ??

It can take a while for it to recognise a USB   mine is a right pain in the butt.  Most of time it ok but there are times it just doesnt recognise them.  Just pull out the stick an ram it back in thet usually works for me

Did you just put the mp3 onto the stick or into a folder ?

Was the stick formatted at FAT32 ?

The capacity of the stick is below that max capacity that the HU will accept ?

 

Then as above remove & reinsert a couple of times & give 2-3 mins as it can be slow to pickup all the files from the stick ( depending on hoe many tracks were on it )
