My next job is to replace the bushes at the rear of the front control arms. But on the off side the sump is clearly going to stop the front pivot from being withdrawn.

 

Is this unusual?  Am I just unlucky?  Or is there a known solution please?

Jack the engine up a little. Might have to remove the O/S engine mount at the top which is very easy.
