Thinking I will go and get a remap soon for my octavia tdi Vrs pd170. Just wondering of the people who have had this done how many have had problems with clutch/flywheel, turbo, dpf etc. Would probably go for a shark performance remap as have only seen good reviews for these, if I could pick up a second hand sts unit cheap would prefer to go for that

I have remapped all of my previous diesels. 1.9 golf, 2.0 golf and 2.0 mazda. And only had 1 issue before. But in my opinion, you should always go the custom remap route with the rolling road. This way the map is unique for the car. It is checked before, during and after. The only issue was on my 1.9 Tdi Golf 105bhp, the clutch must of been worn and had to be replaced as it started to slip.  It went on the rolling road with 115bhp and was remapped to 154bhp. With the power curves so smooth it pulled like a tank.
