Sorry if this has been covered before, did a quick search but im a newbie round here.

I've got a 56 reg vrs with four blank switches on the dash, was wondering if any one had any suggestions on what to fit in their place to smarten the interior up a bit, looks a wee bit poverty in here at the moment. If anyone has any pictures that would be fantastic.

Some people have put an aux / USB input into one of the blanks.

You need these....

On the elegance and l@k models two of the blanks are heated seats

2 outer ones are for heated seats never worked out the rest lol

Right - heated seat

Then - heated rear window

Then - asr/esp

Then - blank

Then - airbag off warning light

Left - heated seat.

If you had heated seats, ESP and air bag off switch then there would be no blanks! Not sure if I've ever seen a Fabia with all of that though!

+£400 if I remember correctly, quite a lot on top of a £12k'ish car.  I played in the snow, but was never really sure if it made any difference.  I believe it was able to apply the brakes to any one of the 4 wheels, but I take their word for that.

Usually filled with aux and USB ports.

I would suggest buying some spares on top of any blanks you buy to allow for mistakes!

just bought some off ebay £25 for the pair some seats now then going to swap my leathers on to them retro all the way!

Never found out what the remaining blank was. I assumed it was esp but this replaces the ASR. My only thought was it's the Asr/esp for left hand drive cars.

Always planned on making it front heated screen but dout I ever will!

Here's a picture of the switch layout on my 2004 Fabia vRS. I don't have an airbag light there (it's one of the lights in the instrument cluster)

You only get the airbag light if you had the optional passenger airbag deactivation switch. The switch is located in the glove box.

so whats left with the 2 blanks??

Airbag light is the left blank, no idea about the one beside that.

There's always one blank, regardless of options. As for why, who knows??
