Snow foam, wash mitt, 2bm, clay, polish, wax.....No, just a yard brush !

I was doing ours yesterday (she looks awesome now) and the neighbour pulled up across the road and got a bucket and sponge out. I said "I can do that if you want, I've already got everything out and I'm just finishing ours if you want to pull it over this side". I'm not kidding she looked at me as if I'd just said "do you mind if I go into your house and 5h1t on your carpet?".

Yeah, and I bet your car was absolutely stunning compared to any wash she'd ever done on hers. This bugs me about people, they see that every time you do something you do it to the best of your ability and it turns out great yet when you offer your help to them they shun you like you no nothing on the subject.

Thing is I mainly wanted to do the interior as it was starting to look natty. So a good vacuum of every surface, APC every surface and wipe then interior trim restorer every surface and buff. The extpressure wash, snow foam, rinse and dry. She looked like I'd spent a few hours on her but the exterior only took 20 minutes which is the whole thing, do it properly the first time then next time it's just a quick wash and dry but people just don't get it and say"how come yours looks better than mine?", so I tell them and then get the reply "oh, I don't have the time or patience for that", hence why theirs doesn't look as good, doh.

I think its fair to say that those who say they haven't got the time...don't want to find it

And don't really care in the first place.

I agree, many say they don't have the time but there are some though that really don't have the time or know what to do.

Did a friend's mother's car yesterday. Seven hours well spent. She was really happy with it and now it's so much easier to look after now it's been done thoroughly once.

Great work

Is it the camera lens...or do those headlights need a polish?

The lenses need a little correction but hey are not bad. The wheels however are shot to hell and needed quite a bit of attention to freshen them up a little. There were minor paint transfer scrapes on many panels and lots of spilt baby milk in the rear. I could of easily spent a few more hours rolling about the car but for it's age (11 years) it wasn't in a bad bad shape to be honest. It does lots of miles daily and ocassionally gets used as a child shuttle.

I'll be out there to do the Audi sometime (which is covered in film and brake dust) and finish the paint chips and scratch on the rear of the Vauxhall. If I can find a little time I may see if I can tidy one or two things a little more with the Mercedes.

Love the number plate!

Love the number plate!

Thanks. Got them made on an ebay site for £19 posted. I wanted old style with modern twist. Retro black on silver (plastic) with current Charles Wright font.

Glad you posted these pics. I just bought from them

Sorry dude but if this is the pride they take with "preping" their motors i'd hate to think what happens to cars when they go in for a service or the like and disappear around the back out of your sight. Personally i wouldn't let them change the nuts on wheelbarrow's wheel. Good luck to ya anyway.
