What kind of characteristics would you expect from a PD100 with eibach springs and standard dampers?

The Mrs and Eibach treated me to some cheap lowering springs for my BIRTHDAY - so I had a 10k service and my springs fitted at JBS's new place yesterday. I am disappointed that these springs weren't fitted in the first place. It feels like a standard sports hatch now - and I don't think it is any quicker through the bends' date=' but the braking is vastly improved, as well as high speed stability and traction is much better out of corners.

Hi, I want to upgrade the screen in my octavia to 5E0919605N. I know you can plug this in and it will work but that the app button wont unless i upgrade to 3.x.x which I cant. I was wondering has anyone used any online services to remove the CP as I can source the screen and unit in the glovebox for a really good price from a breaks locally but there isn't many places in Ireland that offer retro fit services. any information would be great

Hello all, I'm looking for some feedback from those of you who have their EA888.4 ECU and DQ381 TCU tuned. Ideally, from those with the 245 version, although I'll still happily hear out those with similar EA888.3 245/280 models. I'm currently in between two possible solutions: a comprehensive RacingLine OEM+ Stage 1 ECU/TCU tune, versus a combinations of Revo Stage 1 (ECU) and TVS Stage 2+ (TCU). In both scenarios, I'll be aiming for a 95RON, low-torque file, since I'm not only limited by the

Managed to retrofit the a reverse camera to my Scala the other day, cost just under £50 with delivery from Aliexpress. No coding required, worked straight away when selecting reverse gear. Most difficult part was removing the old handle and feeding the wire through the rubber conductor in to the boot. I’ve added some photos which may help anyone else attempting to do this. I routed my wire behind the glovebox, up the pillar and over the top of passenger side doors. The co

We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

On a journey from Cotswolds to Mid Wales (109 miles), I achieved 69mpg. Anyone else achieving similar returns? Journey was part motorway - M5, Gloucester to Worcester South - then Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury. Cheers
