Airconditioning pressure sensor

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where the high pressure sensor is for the aircon. It stopped working and a vcds scan showed the high pressure sensor as being faulty. Drove over 100 miles today and it was torture!

I think it's also called the g65 sensor

Down by the drivers side - near the o/s engine mount.

Changed the sensor today and went for a little drive. Not convinced it's cured it :(

It was only 19 degrees out and while the air through the vents was cool I didn't notice much difference between having a/c on or off. I've

got a day off Monday so will drop it back round to the place I had it done to check the refrigerant level. They did the uv dye to check for leaks last year and it was fine apparently.

Be interested to learn of your outcome

Have the same fault code on another Fabia (G65 sensor 00819)

Hope you get this resolved!

Ive fault sayimg pressure to low, had regassed but then could hear hissing behimd dash when aircon in use. Thread on here suggested that they make this noise when need regassing low and behold week later aircon stops working and pressure warning back on. So looks like ive got to find a leak now!
