Plenty of these threads about. Do a little a search to find loads of different opinions/ people's thoughts.

He could have asked about Oil use. That really would have been groundhog-thread! Lol

Most people rate the ITG Maxogen over the forge. I think there have be instances of the forge actually giving reduced levels of power compared to stock (on higher states of tune?).

Has anyone in the Doncaster area got a itg maxogen fitted to there vrs so could have a listen and possibly take me out in it before I spend 300 sheets on one :?

Waste of money, spend it on handling mods or Bluespark box instead

I wouldn't say they are a waste of money. It's horses for courses. I sometimes think my H&R springs are a waste of money as the roads round mine are so bad!!

If you are in the market for an induction kit for the 1.4 TSI the ITG is money well spent IMO.

Having had both on my fabia, the Forge lost power, as in it made more power on the stock intake, the ITG ( I had the VWR one) made about 10Hp on back to back dyno graphs on my car iirc

Check my other thread Jabo!

I think i have to second that after today's run.

Would the difference be due to the micron of filer used? Iirc the stock is 5 micron..maybe? What's used in the forge, igt etc?
