I know a lot of the users in here have posted comments on xenon match ideas and so on, but I searched and didn't find any specific thread for overview of which bulp types goes where.

 

Can we make such together?

If people KNOWS what goes where (mind what type of lamp specification!) I could update for all of us and visitors to get an idea - both on brands/types and what specification.

When it comes to upgrade bulbs, so far I have good experience with Osram Nightbreaker and Phillips Blue Vision. I get mine off eBay and the shop named "Metrodirectuk". If wanting the yellow style tuning version, I tested Luminics JDM yellow at one point (different car).

Nice idea, however if you plan to edit the first post as you get replies (which would make life really easy) you can't as you can only edit a post up to 1 hour after you first submit it. It's a REALLY annoying setting on this forum. Maybe a mod can change it for this thread (or ideally the whole site!)

Ah sod, I wasn't aware of that. Oh well, either way, then let's run with posts if that is what is needed. Maybe a mod later on can "cut and paste" (move posts) when we have it all sorted.

 

Personally I found the fog/cornering lamps to look quite the H1 type, but not fully sure yet.

If you pay for freedom then you can edit for as long as you want.

Was at dealership today, to get a replacement chromelist in place since picking it up.

 

They confirmed atleast the non-RS fogs/corners indeed ARE the H8 type.

I picked up the Skoda spare bulb kit, supposedly for the vrs ( they took my reg). It's only £26 plus vat

If that comes with a spare Xenon bulb, then it's a bargain.  If not, then it sounds expensive... but of course I have no idea what's in it so if you could let us know...?

Haven't studied it, but told it includes the xenon. It doesn't seem to list what's in, I'll take a photo.... And work out how to post up.
