Right a went out in my car for a drive come home turned it off litterally for 5 minutes went to start it again and the battery was dead not even enough power to put the lights on the dash I jumped it drove to seaside bout 100 mile away left it all day started up fine drove all way back believe it or not it was 100 miles parked up at my house for night come to go out next day put key in ignition and booom completely dead again anybody have a clue what it be?

I had a similar issue lately. Thought it was the starter motor at first. But turned out it needed a new battery....

Have you checked the battery and alternator with a multimeter?

No not really had time with working and tbh am not really technical minded

Take it for a garage and get the battery and alternator checked, got to be the first thing to so if you haven't got time.

Could be somthing like the glovebox or boot light staying on or have a more serious problem like a drain on the battery.

Sounds to me like you may need a new battery, especially if its the original one since car was new. But like the above comment, get it checked at a garage first, or buy yourself a cheap multimeter and have a go yourself, its quite easy.

 

If it does need a new battery, then I'd suggest arranging it yourself and not getting one from the garage unless they have a good deal on. Have a look at eurocarparts.com and enter code BRISK25 for 25% off. (I think that is the code?)

 

That's about all the help I/we can be, without knowing the results from checking the battery and alternator.
