Hiya,

Could anyone tell me if this the the right way to fit the cabin filter.

The arrows on air direction are pointing away from cabin towards front of car, where as I thought it would be other way around.

However pitting it in the other way doesn't fit properly.

Should of paid more attention when I removed old one!

Ps new to forum, I'll post up introduction soon with pics.

I think it only fits in one way round and you cannot get it wrong. 

 

Ps if you are not sure how to do things a good tip is to either take pictures or a quick video on your mobile.

I checked old filter and there was no directional arrows so left it as it is.

The last time I changed mine it had no directional arrows on, but I'm almost certain it would only fit one way though.

If I had to guess at which way the arrows should point, I'd think it would be inwards like towards passengers as in the direction the air would be flowing

Will only fit in one way round so don't worry.

Thanks all. Yes only fits one way round so I guess the arrows must apply to another model perhaps. I suppose it's only a pollen filter and not an air filter where it would need to have the right air flow direction.

The arrows are correct.  That's the direction of airflow AFAIK. 

Comes from the blower fan on the LHS, does a left then a right & proceeds onto the heater & AC heat exchangers in the middle
