My mechanic wants to install the anti lift bushes like in the attached photo as he thinks that way we'll achieve caster increase. However, looking at the Superpro diagram i understanf its the exact opposite we should do, unless it's a really misleading diagram. What do you guys think ? Bushes are soon being pressed in...

The one on the right would make most sense to me.  If you get the mechanic to show you under the car it should make perfect sense.

 

The one on the left I can't see so well.

 

I haven't had my first coffee of the morning but the one on the right should increase positive caster by pushing the wheel forward

 

How is the one on the left different.

Dont know if you can tell but They are symmetric, both with their eccentric holes towards the "outside" of the car. Mechanic is sure thats the way to get positive castor its just this superpro diagram that looks opposite:

Well I had the same problem and Alex from AKS Tunning sent me the photo how to set these... Get under the car and if you looking at these from behind the Driver Side should be set for circa between 4 and 5 o'clock, passenger side between 7 and 8 o'clock.

 

These setting will give you the best out of these

Scrap that...Your wishbones are different to mine...I have the pre facelift Fabia and my wishbones are the same as MK1 Fabia...I was trying to help but try Alex from AKS

i'd say mine are looking around 3 o clock on the right side and 9 o clock on the left as you look top-down, i dont say driver and passenger side as mine is LHD and we could get confused.

So close to what you suggest, my worry was whether we were installing them completely opposite than intended, still i cant get the Superpro diagram...

Well, they are going in as shown in the pic, i understand it is how it should be more or less.

Yes, an alignment is taking place afterwards, this was due since the dampers upgrade. Let's see how will the car feel...
