Does anyone else get this issue when I connect my phone (samsung galaxy note 2) to the car via bluetooth after about 2 minutes it looses connection and the bolero unit restart and the connect and does this few times and then doesn't have a problem at all really frustrating.... but when my wife connects her phone samsung galaxy s4 no problem at all..

any help be great

thanks

I don't think PBAP is the problem.

What version of Android do you have on S2? 4.0 or 4.1? There has to be a bug on your Bluetooth stack on your Android version, or Bolero simply is not liking the BT version you have on S2. Check can you upgrade the Android on your S2.

I've had S2, S3, S4, and Note3 and they have all worked nicely out of the box, but with Columbus, also wifes LG G2 works fine, except that my car module supports both rSAP and normal BT. Older ones only do rSAP.

There is no Bluetooth in the Bolero, its an external module mounted under the drivers seat. The Bolero is merely a display and control interface for the module.

I suspect its likely to be a compatibility issue between the module and the Android BT stack version. Others have reported similar issues with the S3 and certain bluetooth module revisions.

its very strange after about 5 minutes its fine... i know bolero doesn't have Bluetooth built in as i installed the unit in my VRS.. must be just an issue with my phone as the wife phone is fine... the bolero just shuts off and you get welcome to skoda screen
