I must don some orthopaedic shoes ( stand corrected) then, seems I am using some below par tyre fitters.

It used to be the norm to beast up the wheel nuts with nut runners at garages but I think that practice went out the window many years ago at good shops. our local etyres man makes sure you witness him tighten the bolts with a torque wrench.

Irritating, but this happened on my Alfa Romeo and the wheels stayed on.

 

As Alfa Romeo is the benchmark for reliability, I'm not overly concerned by a small amount of rust on the Octy.
