So, following on from a comment where people are using bsd around the home, I thought I'd start this thread, basically;

How/what do you use your detailing products for around the home...?

I'll go first,

Iron X - removing rust stain from bathroom tiles.

(p.s suggestions for a better title welcome)

Never really contemplated it

 

I suppose 3M glass cleaner spray will work on shower screens.

G101 cleaner is a great general cleaning tool everywhere.

A good trim renovator will work wonders on the black visible part of the sole of your leather shoes, around the heel etc

Don't recommend on the actual sole unless you like moonwalking.

Glass sealant on shower cubicle works a treat

Chemical Guys Stripper scent works just as well around the house as an Air Freshener.

I use my Chemical guys QD spray all over the place.

Laptop, mirrors around the house, picture frames, the TVs all sorts...

Autoglym engine degreaser works wonders on my hair

I've used bsd on shower screens, tiles in the en suite shower. And I know Steve on here samuir1974 also used it in his garage doors (I caught him in the act)

for me any glass or mirror I can find around the house.

iron-x on a plastic shower fixing stained by rust - removed sprayed waited buffed off. Took two applications.

Gtechniq glass sealer on the shower door - was Aquapel on the last house.

 

GTechniq C2v3 on the window sills outside.

BSD on the kitchen granite worktop. :p

Metal polish on stainless cooker hood

Gtechniq G5 on shower screen

Diluted APC for general cleaning of hard surfaces

Glass cleaner for....er....cleaning glass

+1....Metal polish gets a lot of use other than R36 exhausts!

Cooker, taps, chrome radiators, etc.

 

BSD on outside doors - garage and house doors and upvc window ledges

 

AG fast glass for mirrors and windows.

 

....still to test out a product on the shower screen sealing duties!!
