I've done many resets and factory restores and i just get the green loading circle. Then it freezes :(

Just going to the dealers to get another. Hopefully a Garmin.

Sounds like its terminal this time,should get the Garmin as a replacement I would imagine.

Mine did similar and it was a garmin. Off car fine, connect to car, dead or hung.

 

There is a notice it turns out, about some of the units bricking themselves/doing the above.. i.e. you plug another one in, it will go the same way.

 

I went to get a new one as it kept freezing. They needed to disconnect the main battery on car, do some other magic. They didn't finish and I had to go back, but it's been fine ever since.

Apparently they said there is a Skoda update for it which takes hours(yeah right).

So I've left it with them to sort out. It froze on him in the garage but he needs to try this first before ordering a replacement.

I'll hear about it tommorow.

This so called restore from SUK didn't work at all on the Navigon. They were playing around with it until I told SUK what they were doing then I got a call an hour later from the dealer saying they've ordered me a new one.

Picked up the Garmin earlier. A much better PID and very quick compared to the Navigon. Very pleased

Also love the 80% discount on map updates when registering it as new
