I have been offered an 05 Superb Comfort with a 130 bhp 1.9tdi PD for a tad over £3,000. It has 56k miles and has had the cam belt done together with a new clutch and water pump fitted at a main dealer. Planning to see it on Thursday evening. Opinion? What should I look for? Any corrosion issues?

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks for this rotodiesel. I spoke to my garage and he said that the clutch and the water pump indicated city use and short trips (clutch) and long periods not being used (water pump seals). Owner said not taxied but I am wary. I'll search on water ingress.

Does the price look right?

Price looks OK, but you already seem to have doubts. Is it coming from a personal recommendation or a dealer?
