Fitting Eibachs... What else would you replace?

Featured Replies

Going to fit some Eibach 25mm springs on a VRS, what else would you replace?

I'm probably going to fit bilstein b4 shocks at the same time and top mounts.

Cheers.

Top mounts, bearings, bumpstops

When you say bearings do you mean wheel bearings?

How many miles?

My Superb had covered 84K miles, I replaced the top mounts and fitted the Bilstein B12 kit, the top mounts I took off were mint (but as I had bought new ones I fitted them) the bump stops were also mint so i reused them (you can see them with them fitted to the car so i didn’t buy any replacements)

I replaced top mounts, bearings, bump stops (with Seat ones) and drop links (with Meyle-HD) when fitting the Eibachs and Bilstein B8's.

Not actually got one yet, looking at one tomorrow which is 99% bought. It's done 85k and is a 2004. Just like to have a plan!

Wishbone bushes could be worth changing too, the console bush is known for having play when the miles get higher. You'll also have to get the alignment checked once you do everything as it'll more than likely be out with all the changes.
