Hey, I'm Mark and I'm enroute to buying my first Skoda. I'm looking to buy a fabia vrs mk1 next month so I thought it would be best to join up and lurk around before hand.

I hear they're reliable and fun, just need some minor modifications to enhance the experience.

Wishing you well and I'll hopefully be speaking to everyone in the forums!

Cheers.

Welcome, used to have a mk1 vRS couldn't say a bad thing about it until the turbo decided to go, 3 turbo's later decided to sell the car.

Just purchased myself a mk2 14 plate Fabia vRS I'll be picking up this evening :)

I have thought about one of the newer vRS's but would ideally like to lower my monthly outgoings, I'm now handing back my current finance car (Suzuki Swift) I've loved the reliability and MPG but was a big shock coming from my older Civic.. I just hope the Furby treats me well and makes me smile!

Are turbos and DMF's as big a concern as i am hearing?
