Vibratechnics mounts

Featured Replies

Is anyone using any of the vibra technics mounts on a Vrs?

My cars just covered 141k so I'm thinking about changing the engine and gearbox mounts.

I do get the odd creak/ clunk when pulling away so not sure if it's one of these mounts?

I've already got a superpro dogbone bush, so don't think its that?

On that subject would the vibratechnics dogbone work better than just the poly insert?

Vibratechnics top gearbox and engine mounts will be ok once they bed in. Evil at first.

Vibratechnics dogbone will be EVIL

Thanks Josh, may give them a go. A small amount of vibration when stationary will be ok. The keys rattle a bit from the superpro mount.

May compare it to the mongrel at castle Combe

Plus one to what Josh said. At first vibrations are mental. But they do certainly settle after covering some miles circa 500 ish in my experience. I love it tho, defo worth the £

Any other options other than OEM gearbox mount. I think mine's shot to pieces, lots of clunking going over rough road surfaces.

Rear console bushes done recently, suppose dogbone bush could be fubar as well though.

i was going to get a set of these but was told the vibration was really bad to those who got them personal opions plzz
