Amundsen sd card question

Featured Replies

Hi I have an Amundsen sound system in my octavia and when playing music from the sd card , it always goes back to the first track on the first album after turning the ignition off and then back on. Is this normal?

If if listen to music from a USB source and turn off the ignition, the next time I restart. It plays the music from the last track played. Shouldn't the sd card source do the same.

Mine remembers exactly where it left off after starting back up even down to the second in the individual tracks. What format and encoding have you used for your files? Mine are straight forward CBR Mp3.

Just checked and the format is mp3

Which slot is the SD card for the music in? In my car, the map card is in slot 1, and music in slot 2. Mine remembers the last track played - except if I removed the card and reinserted it. Then it will go back to the start every time it's inserted.

The music is in slot 1, I am just reformatting the card and re copying the music to see if that changes anything, I will try it in slot 2 as well

After reformatting the card now seems ok

On another note - The Handbook seems to suggest this unit can play back Video like .avi etc?

I've tried an SD card with videos but they are not recognized.

Anyone confirm?

Without hacks, only the Columbus plays video - not the Amundsen.

Does the Bolero accept SD cards for playing music?

Does the Bolero accept SD cards for playing music?

Yes

Thanks MidVRS :)

I've had a search around and can't find any up to date info on what size it can cope with and whether it works better with type 2, 4, 6 or 10.

Anyone with a 2013 model car to comment?

The car's not here for 4 months so no hurry with the answers :p
