Faulty electric windows ?

Featured Replies

Someone in the family has a 1.9 Classic or S as they are now. He locks it with the key as there's no fob based central locking and recently has found that when he's come back to it, the windows are down.  The dealer has said he should apply some of that lubricant in the blue and white can 40WD into the lock but that's all. It's five years old so out of warranty, but, if there's a fault surely they should fix it. Any ideas ?

TIA
