If They Made a Fabia vRS Mk3

Featured Replies

I like that. It looks purposeful and robust.

Edit....

The Skoda emblem on the front alloy is the wrong way round...... schoolboy error  :p

That's just a Green Audi A1 isn't it?

How long before BossFox buys one makes it look like that and fits S1 RUNNING GEAR

I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Also there is not a hope in hell Skoda would let it leave the factory as low as that from stock.

You need to at least be able to fit your head in the arch gap.

This forum would be flooded with threads about outrageous modding, how everyone loves/hates them, how everyone moans about them using too much oil and breaking, ridiculous colour schemes, fitting 20 inch rims, 25 profile tyres, how to fit gas filled bonnet lifters, moaning about Skoda UK customer services. Also the average age of the vrs driver will have risen to 75...

1.6 TDI 160 or something along the lines would be a good start if it was ever done in my opinion

Don't like it.  The angular pressed shape makes is look like a cheap pressed tin can and those wheels do make it look rather Audi-ish.  They seemed to start out well with the Mk1 styling (very distinctive and smart) and just go downhill from there  :D That must have taken some doing!  One man's meat is another man's poison though, so I appreciate it's all subjective.

Seeing a Picture of Production ready New Fabia is going to be what matters,

and on a road not at the Stand at a Motorshow or in the Dealership Showroom.

Parked at the roadside or driving is really what matters, unless you are buying one to display inside.

I tend to park my cars and just stare at them! Not because they look good, just because they won't start

I think it looks good, but I need to see a mk3 Fabia in the metal first.

Mainly because it seems to have a heavy crease/bulge right above the door handles which looks a little odd to me.

They should have fitted the handles as part of the crease IMO, just based on the pics.

The handles stuck on underneath look like an afterthought.

Of course, in the metal it may look fine.

That would have looked good, I like that design idea Richard!!

Will never happen. The Mk1 Fabia was only ever popular in the UK and strangely not in Diesel loving Europe. The Mk2 was overpriced and unreliable and basically put a high performance engine and box into an ill handling shopping trolley. If Skoda wanted to do a UK only RS edition go back to mk 1 principles so 140bhp 2.0 TDI and price it around £14-15k. However can't see that happening.

Pointless thread as It was announced that  Fabia vRS was not going to happen after the MK2.

Did neither of you read the thread title? It starts with the word "If"

If we ignored or deleted pointless threads on Briskoda, we'd only have about 10..... :-p
