Is my Vrs soon to be past it?

I best get the pick up pipe done then as I can't see it in any of the history. Do it just in case.

If you have no history of the pick up pipe being done then yes worth doing with next oil change.

But changing at 3k miles is frankly well overkill. The only reason they get blocked is infrequent oil changes and or oil of none OEM grade. If you stick to replacing oil every 4 to 5k on engines that have done over 120k with good quality oil the pick up pipe will be clean.

I would be more worried of blocking pick up with sealant replacing every 3k tbh.

Im with bowders on this, mines on 130k but im still moving forward with it

I really think a well looked after car on 128k is barely middle aged in car life especially today

I only serviced it 3months ago but im already thinking abiut it next service.

Any work you can do yourself is a big bonus

Only just run in as long as it does what you want and the bills aren't to big keep on going.
