I was wondering whether or not it's possible to change the black plastic-doorhandles in a Citigo Ambition, to the chrome ones from a Citigo Elegance??

Has anyone on this forum tried it?? Because I've bought two doorsides (don't know if it's the correct word for it in english) from a 3-door.. My plan was to use the handles from this one in my 5-door ambition...

But I can't quite figure out how to take it all apart :-D

I don't know if anyone has done this but I quite fancy putting these on my sport.

Looking at a parts breakdown it's looks quite straight forward to do.

First remove door trim.

On my car, the bolts marked 3 in the link, looks like melted plastic??

Look like rivets.

I've drilled the rivets, and now have two handles ready for mounting.. But how the heck am I supposed to mount them in my car.. I guess I can't get plastic rivets and mount them the same way?? I'm thinking some industrial strength glue perhaps... What do you guys think??
