Karcher K2 and Autobrite Snow Foam HD Lance

Featured Replies

Just bought these two but been reading online and some have said the K2 isn't strong enough for the snow foam?

Will i get a thick layer from using the two or will or just be runny and basically pointless?

You will be fine. I have K2 and Autobrite lance and get really nice and thick foam. It's all about the dilution.

Enjoy. Matty

Too thick foam can be pointless

You only need about an inch to the rest in water

I've two Karcher K2 units and two Autobrite snow foam lances and used them all for nearly three years and have had no issues at all.

Perfect :)

Just need to wait on my snow foam lance arriving now :(

As I recall one guy posted recently with issues in this combo. I think in the end low water pressure and running through a very long hose extension setup did hinder things.

You should have no issues really.

What snow foam are you planning to use? Have a play with the mixture to get your desired results :)

Bought the Autobrite HD lance with the Magifoam.

Shouldnt be a problem then - very popular foam indeed and good reviews!

The washer you have is good enough for foam. If your just doing 1 car then put an inch of foam & fill bottle up 3/4. You will be fine, enjoy.

How did you get on Scott?

My snow foam lance should arrive tomorrow so will let you know over the weekend how i got on.

I used this combo at the w/e although my mate has an older K2 model K2.390 I think, anyway it worked perfectly with his new Autobrite Direct HD Snow Foam Lance and we did 3-cars! :).

I was so impressed I've gone for the Group Buy on Detailing World!

Mine arrived today. I got the yellow Magifoam so it will look good on my white car :). Just waiting for the rain to stop :(

Make sure you get all the foam off the car & driveway. My mate had some blue foam & it stained his trim & block paving. He managed to get it sorted, but it was a bit of a pain. Enjoy.

Turns out it's the normal Magifoam. It said banana scented so i assumed it was yellow but the 'custard' is the yellow one lol.

Used me new toy yesterday and it performed a lot better than i was expecting. I used just over an inch of Magifoam and filled the bottle 3/4s the way up and still had a bit left at the bottom.

Managed to get a nice thick foam and left it for 15 mins. It managed to loosen all the millions of dead animals which like to stick to the front of my car. Done a quick bucket wash after and everything came off so easy so wasn't bad for a £37 pressure washer :)
