Air Filter replacement

Featured Replies

I have got my pollen filter (fitted today) & an air filter today & I'm consider tackling this myself, first impressions suggest it looks simple. Am I right in thinking it's just a case of taking these 8 torx screws out and the filter sits just under the head cover? I have looked online but it just seems to be pictorials for TSI only (& I'm CR), it looks a slightly different configuration.

Any guidance/reassurance is welcome.

Cheers Mark

Yes as you suspect, piece of **** to do.

If you fancy having a go at a bit of DIY servicing you wont go far wrong getting yourself a Haynes manual for a bit of guidance.

Spot on with what your thinking!

An air filter change on these is simpler than changing a wheel :)
