A/C VCDS help

Featured Replies

Hello everybody. My A/C is not working. It was checked for leaks, was topped up, but still not working. I can manage to get access to a vcds to make a scan but I dont know how to start. I want to check if the compressor is broken or just the pressure sensor. When I press the A/C button nothing happens. The compressor is not switching on. The car is 2010 Octavia Vrs TDI with DSG transmission.

Many thanks

There is a bolt in the centre of the compressor. If it spins freely it's new compressor time

I tought that MKII's dont have the traditional clutch systems and the compressor runs constantly. Or am I wrong?
