I had some minor cosmetic damage to one of my headlamps from drips in a car park, it looks like a patch of clear laquer has come off on one of them but you can only see it if you are really looking for it.

Any way, i got it replaced and paid for by the car park, but now it looks too new compared to the other so i think I'm going to get another new one and sell the pair.

 

Any ideas what sort of money i should be asking for the pair?

Check out eBay, they are rare. Are you including the ignnitors, ballasts and bulbs? This will greatly increase their value.

I will have a look at what skoda have removed / put in the box in my boot, i think he said the whole lot comes as one, they are about £250 each for new ones :-s

Go to a bodyshop that does headlight refurbs. They remove the UV coating and re apply with new. Have both lights done then they will look brand new. Careful with back street bodyshops as they will only use clear coat and they will turn yellow in no time. Should be about £45 per light

Ah, wish id know about that before replacing it! lol

Might just try shift them as they are first and replace the other one.
