Any one bought Gtb2060vk turbo? And best clutch to handle it ?

Featured Replies

Just ordered gtb2060vk for my fabia vrs from xman750 . Just wondering if any one has got one fitted to say what they like . Best clutch for the job too?? :) Cheers

Ahem it's either 2056 or 2260. :)

2260?

Joel and Silky are running 2260's, but are from Dirty Torque/Darkside Developments on fancy tubular manifolds not stock cast ones :)

Presuming you've looked into the job and realise you need a custom downpipe etc?

As for clutch/flywheel you need a Sachs or Helix with SMF.

Then get ready for the horrid gearbox shaft rattle :(

plus injectors, brakes and def a diff!

I run a sachs SRE clutch and its not batting an eyelid at 300bhp.  Expensive but best clutch I have ever had and I have gone through a couple of supposed "performance clutches" including a 600 lb/ft system from the States!  Waste of $1200+ that was!

Cant fault the SMF helix set up. Has seen me good on track and for launching up the drag strip.

Not cheap but works.

I'm gonna be running the Sachs SRE Organic plate and Uprated pressure plate with my own custom made flywheel

Show off :)

Who's mapping it?

No it's a gtb2060vk what iv ordered :) . Got a custom manifold and ordered custom down pipe for it to . Clutch hunting now :)

Not heard of a 2060! Only heard of the 2056.

What manifold are you using? Tubular one off eBay? JK Automotive or something I think the company is, I wish I went with one of those now. Quite cheap with the down pipe!

If you're going big power then I'd say it's worth spending on a clutch :)

There is no 2060. I would check turbo model. :)

Yes got manifold off eBay mate. Xman750 had gtb2060vk in and it's his first he's had so iv bought it. Might as we'll see what it's like :) Says it's good for around 250/260bhp.

Just googled it, and it does exist it seems. Must be the 2260 internals in the 2056 body.

You could be right! It's hard to find anything on internet about them . It will be fitted in a month or so :) can't wait .
