How Safe is a Skoda Vehicle after a Motor Vehicle Collision (Accident)

Skoda have been back in AUS since September 2007.  I bought into the marque in June 2008.

Yes, you are right, skoda are very low on the sales charts (worse than Alfa & several other niche brands) at around 25th spot because VW AU control Skoda AU & they deliberately do stupid things to limit sales eg:  Dealers weren't allowed to order additional floor stock of Octavia 3; Manual transmission not available in any Elegance spec vehicles (diesel or manual), keeping the service network small by not allowing warranty work at VW;  not allowing VW & Audi dealerships access to Skoda spare part information; prices very close to VW pricing and the list goes on.

As far as I can tell, these are the Sales Figures:

2007 (3 months) Octavia & Roomster = 132

2008 Octavia, SCout & Roomster = 818

2009 - to the end of August = 696

2010 = 1555

2011 = 3501

2012 =3502

2013 = 3555

2014 to the end of August = 2234

So with 15,000 vehicles sold & Victoria being the 2nd most populous state & having 7 Skoda dealerships out of 38 in place I can't see how they could survive with 200 sales between them over a 6 year period.
