OK folks - thought this might be an interesting topic 

 

What do you use, prefer, recommend on the air freshener front....? 

I use Cherry Calafornia Scents. Fits perfectly in the cup holder just behind my handbrake

I have a summer fruits one in at the moment. It wraps round my rear headrest pole. Thinks its made by air wick or someone like that.

As Jars, coronado cherry, but I've glued some hook velcro to an old tin

and I stick it under the drivers seat velcro'd to the carpet in

front of the blower outlets. I just keep using the same tin but change the wadding

regularly instead. Wearing latex gloves is a must for this unless you want your hands to

stink for a month though, it's a very strong smell when they are new.

They are a tad expensive IMO. Mine has just about finished, had it about 3 months. These & the California scents ones are the only ones I've tried that last a while. The spray ones I've tried don't seem to smell a day after they've been sprayed.

I like Magic Tree Black Ice personally, their New Car is OK too. Actually, their Vanilla is also quite good........

Interesting one Phil..... i'm glad someone said it - as i had taken this exact approach for many years;

but given into air fresheners on this car as there was a niggling smell i couldn't quite get rid of.

when you come over next... I made a couple.

Can you not tape it to the inside of your helmet

Agree. The chemicals used to create the smells make some people (including me) feel sick, or give them a headache.

Another +1 for California Scents Coronado Cherry. One of the few air fresheners that doesn't give me a headache.

Currently using my OCD Forum air freshener - Bubblegum scent.

Not too offensive at all
