Rapid VRS

Featured Replies

I've been looking to see if Skoda are going to bring out a Rapid VRS. I can only find this image. Can't find any more information. Can anybody shed any light on it? Really want it.

Thanks

I doubt it will happen, unfortunately (as I think that image above looks great)

We've got a Spaceback Monte Carlo coming, which is quite nice but not keen on the wheels they've chosen for that personally.

Someone's photoshop'd my car :D

I posed the question to SUK and they stated bluntly that a Rapid vRS isn't going to appear.

I doubt that lovely Rapid Sport concept will either :(

There will be a Toledo FR though

Says who?

That would be the ultimate ****-take as it's Skoda who build the things!

I saw a white Toledo badged up with FR badges the other day.

1 on each of the wings, on the front grill and on the boot lid too.

It did look factory placement.

When we bought our Toledo in June the salesman was bigging up SEAT's moves to becoming a perfomance arm of VAG. It was a conversation that led on from debating the Leon FR280. There is (allegedly) the 150 diesel and 160 tsi due.

Gutted. If it was going to happen I was going wait for it to come out.

The Rapid and Toledo will likely be facelifted at the end of next year and get the new belt-driven TSIs, so I can see those engines being introduced then.

Would be very strange if 'the twins' had a different engine lineup so I guess Skoda will get them too.

This would be the logical option if Skoda stick to their word and drop the Fabia vRS...

It won't be any time soon though, I'll stick to the black edition for now and keep my eye out and just trade up if it happens.

The way the marques are being aligned I wouldn't be surprised if the only vRS Skoda will be the Octavia. SEAT will become the 'sport' option

there's some nice bits and bobs for the Rapid on the Skoda e-shop but they don't ship to the UK!! I wanted front Spoiler and a trim they do for the lower grill.

I wonder if a front splitter/spoiler for a Seat would fit!?
