ko3s upgraded actuator and injectors

Featured Replies

hiya guys can anyone help me and let me no what the upgraded actuator is for my mk1 octy vrs also if there is bigger injectors we can fit without going hybrid all help much appreciated

Forge do an upgraded actuator - my hybrid came with one fitted.
Why would you change injectors without upgrading turbo? Standard ones should be able to flow enough for at least 250hp

I have one of these:

and some BAM 225bhp injectors fitted to my stock K03S turbo. And obviously mapping to suit both of those items, as well as the rest of the car's hardware. The BAM injectors give better spray pattern, but you don't necessarily need them with a standard turbo.

How did the turbo perform after tje new actuator? My boost drops quickly after about 4500rpm all the way to 0.6 bar

I can't give an exact before and after comparison as I stuck a load of other stuff on at the same time. But you can't just fit a new, stiffer actuator and expect it to go like stink, as it needs mapping carefully to suit the modified wastegate opening characteristics. Without the N75 plugged in, i.e. running on just actuator pressure, my car still made 217.3bhp and holds the advertised boost of 0.7 bar/10 psi all the way to the limiter.

What bhp did you make with tje n75 plugged in?

Unfortunately, I had/have a timing issue, so the map was toned down at the top to keep it safe. I'm currently at 223bhp and 265lbft, although it did make 233bhp and 277lbft at one point. In theory, the hardware should do over 250bhp and 280-300lbft.

Interesting mate, i got 221bhp and 266lbs torqu with full milltek exhaust and and panel fikter, forge fmic and recirc for valve

Im considering a hybrid but gor to consider hardware upgrades and a new mapper, that was on 97ron fuel
