I'm buying a Superb

Featured Replies

Nightfire Blue. 04 Plate on Classic Trim but it has full leather Interior, Sat Nav and is sittin pretty on 17 inch Rims and has some serious "pimp" tints.

2.5 TDi with 8.5k on the clock.

Gonna miss the Octy vRS but the Superb is such an impressive beast.

Test drive today, but will give serious review once I'm "used to it" :D

Interesting. According to the brochure they didn't do the 2.5 in Classic trim at all. Only Comfort or Elegance. The 2.5 is pretty nippy for a big car.

Sorry, my mistake. Been on the beer. Its a Comfort Trim :o

Only had mine two days 1.9tdi classic (traded in a vrs estate) really enjoying it so far ....for a big car the handling is pretty good as well......and well over 50 mpg ....heaven

Less than 48 hours now until I pick up the Superb.

I'm really gonna miss the vRS, but on the other hand, the Superb is gonna totally out class it.

Playtime is over, and its time to grow up.!

Looks like I may be able to use mine soon ......Fuel has arrived in the garages  ...really really enjoying it at the moment....it has real road presence and every time you come up behind someone they move over :D and it's so quiet on the motorway it's unreal.

Still finding different gadgets and lights after nearly a week looking for them

OG. I see you drive the 1.9 TD. Wat do u think of that car?

I had a 1.9TDi Elegance on 24hr test drive and found it a more than capable engine for the size of the car.

Granted, it did not have the "wham" of a vRS but the mid range punch from the 130 Bhp really did suprise me.

I've only gone for the 2.5 as I pull a Caravan and wanted that extra bit of grunt above the 1.9. Finding a 2.5 has been the biggest problem, especially in a manual. Of the cars I have seen, they have been the Elegance Tiptronic boxes.

I only had a 5 min test drive of the car I'm getting but it did leave me suffering from :D

The clock is now ticking to comfortable motoring, and I cant wait.

I think the Superb puts us in quite an exclusive club.:thumbup:

Used to have a 1.9pd 130 octy elegance and with the tuning box on it and a one ton caravan on the back it was fantastic .....actually took 30 minutes out of a normal four hour trip towing to Cornwall :D accelerated uphill in fith gear....so I am expecting this Superb to be even more stable with the same amount of grunt. loving every minute of driving it at the moment ....average mpg so far is 44 just a little bit better than my Vrs estate (27 mpg)....also it doesnt hit the kerb when parking and you can go over speed humps :D

Just wait till you go the motorway .....peace and quiet, its so relaxing to drive...........coming back from collecting ours we had a cool box with a few sarnies in ....asked the dreaded misspiggy to hand us one and after a few seconds she said I cant reach you shall I throw it over to you  ...so much for the space in the back.

Drove back from Sheffield with the biggest smile on my face. The car is so smooth. I'll post picks of the "Duchess" when I return from Blackpool 2morra

I love my Skodas. :thumbup::cool:

So the secrets well and truly out.. :(
