Im new to this forum.

I installed a columbus rns 510 to my vw golf. I am trying to connect my phone to it but whenever I click on the phone button and all it does is it mutes or unmutes the sound.

 

Please Help.

You'll need a Bluetooth phone module to be added as well. The Columbus does not have a BT module built in despite there being a 'Phone' button.

 

Have a look under the driver's seat just in case a module is fitted there. If there is (which I suspect not), it is obviously not functioning.
