Posting this in octy 1 as chances are there's more experience with octy 1 vRS owners than fabia 1 owners who have upgraded.

 

I know the back brakes don't do a great deal, but I am on the lookout for the best value VS performance rear pad for the standard vRS 256mm rear brake setup.

 

Shout your options out.  Not looking to spend close to the money I will happily shell out on the best front brake pads there are.

I just use standard Pagid T5075 on the back and the old Mintex Extreme on the front. M1144s will do the same job. Hella dusty and the odd squeak, but I'd rather be able to stop than moan about noisy pads or dirty wheels.

Yeah, I don't care about dirty wheels.  I think my old pads might be Mintex, so perhaps I should just swap like for like
