Abs problem still not fixed!

Featured Replies

So after having and new wheel bearing and hub to my vrs and two new Bosch sensors I still have the abs light on. Vag com is saying it's the abs sensor but I have replaced the sensor twice so it it's not the sensor and the bearing is a genuine skoda one so there should be no problems with that, I can't see any visible splits or brake in the wire, what else could it be?

An invisible internal breakage in the wire.

An invisible internal breakage in the wire.

Does the wire go back to the abs box? Do you know if it's plug and play at each end?

Check the wiring to the ABS module, they can corrode on the N/S inner wing

Where abouts exactly? The only wiring I remember is the one that plugs into the sensor at the hub and that wiring looks okay but quite possible internal.

Are there any codes stored on the abs system?

Thats the wiring then.....................

If it was the sensor or the reluctor it says "implausible signal"

When it first came up it said the implausible signal, now it's only the wiring one, is the wiring plug and play at each end?

Yes...........just double check the connectors etc.......................just that the only connectors are at the pump & in the wheel arch.....with the wiring threaded through the engine bay........

The plug for the ABS sensor wire in the picture will plug into the main loom of the car, the problem will most likely be in that main loom, somewhere around the N/S/F inner wing area
