Small tube

Featured Replies

Yesterday as I was walking to my car I noticed a snmall tube sticking out from between the wheel arch lining and the rear plastic trim.  I gently pulled on it and about 2 foot of it came out,  Not sure what this is for i pushed it back in.  Am wondering if it  could be the diesel drain tube for drops that collect when re fill up.  I hope this can be repaired under warranty with Simpson Skoda.  Any one any other ideas?  Could it also be the rear wash tube come loose?  Will try my wash wipe later when is it light.

Was it under the fuel filler on the o/s/r?

It could be connected to the little drain hole under the filler cap?

Drain hole from the fuel filler area - I had this happen on my old golf.

has now been booked in with Simpson Skoda Colne on 15th Sept.  The tube is on Drivers side at the rear.  becuase there was a bit sticking out I soved it back as I was concerned it may drag along the road

It might have fallen out completely. I resorted to adding an small cable tie around the point the tube links up with the fuel filler moulding on my Mk1 Superb. Did not have problem with it falling out since.

Well it goes to Skoda today I have asked them to see if they can resolve the rear door issue (filling with water after it was once sorted be them) while they have it for the tube

tube sorted (it was the overspill drain tube) rear doors   I was told they have done the Skoda modification and the reason the doors fill is because they are slow draining
