boost gauge pipe

Featured Replies

hi am having a lot of trouble trying to find a place to put the pipe for a turbo boost gauge through the bulkhead any help would be great pix if possable many thanks

I just fitted mine today.

Sorry for lack of

Ifs, but, I done this:

Removed the scuttle panel. Only the one on the passenger side.

I left the washer jet pipe attached and just moved the scuttle panel over on to the engine whilst I did my work.

You will see your pollen filter.

To the left of it is a grommit.

Poke it through there, maybe with something like a coat hanger wire or long screw driver with the vac pipe attached.

Go round to passenger footwell.

Open the glove box.

3 torx screws on top part need to be un done.

Shut glove box, undo 3 torx screws on the bottom.

Remove glove box.

Near the centre, at the top will be a bunch of wires wrapped in black cloth. U will see it poking out from around that area.

I ran the vac pipe behind head unit and under the drivers side dash, cable tied and up through the A pillar where I attached it to the boost gauge.

The last bit is slightly vague as I popped to the toilet and my mate finished it off lol.

But hopefully that will help you.

1st pic isn't that clear. But it's to the left of the pollen filter

2nd pic, u can see it run up the side behind the fuse box area. U can see the orange pipe through the gaps.

3rd and 4th pic u can see underneath drivers dash/footwell. I've cable tied it,

5th pic is the hole I created to allow wire to be passed through engine bay.

I will tape up sharp bits of metal in a bit so u don't pierce vac pipe.

Hope this helps
