Lads and ladies, after having had the car for two weeks now I have given it a service put a few things right in the way of cosmetics and now want to play with the idea if mods! So to that end what gains can the 1.8t deliver and how do I go about it! I[emoji3]

These engines can be built up to silly power if you pay for it.


Stage 2 - 230-240bhp is breathing mods, decat, downpipe and uprated intercooler. Or you could go even further and start modding injectors and internals.

Speak to member " mushtafa " he remapped my vrs octy. And wow. The map is the best map I've had in years!

Remap, air filter and 3" decat for starters. Than front mount, BAM fuel rail, FPR, fuel pump and MAF. After that it's bigger turbo

Mine is standard apart from exhaust, induction kit, valve delete and forge dv. Love the noise it makes. If I can afford a remap for it, it will get done at some point.

It has been mapped before, but took it off when I sold it and loved it at 208bhp.

Stage 1 map Best mods are handling mods !! Not all about the power !!

So true ^^^^^ I recently fitted a whiteline RARB, makes a hell of difference.

Nice simple start Remap, RARB and Dogbone

R anti roll bar for starters. Then when you have managed to find the power limit without losing traction, remap
