Artdeshine Keegan

Featured Replies

Whatever you use it on, I think you will be impressed with the results. :D

Gave the yeti it's first wash yesterday since applying the Keegan, sorry no pictures.  It was a task just getting the water to stay on the car and I must have stood there, hose in hand (easy now!), for about 10 minutes just spraying the car and watching the water fly off it.  I then used an open hose attached to my DI Vessel and left it to dry before breaking out my new can of Artdejohnson "Repel" coat.  I used a suede cloth to apply, just spray the product on to the cloth and wipe over the paint before buffing over.  Applied to paint, glass and trim, you can expect up to 6 months protection from one application.  Just looking forward to it raining now as it's supposed to be very hydrophobic. :rain:  :rain:  :rain:  :D

The repel coat sounds really good - mine arrived on Saturday..... but i didnt get chance to apply it during yesterdays detail.

Looking forward to your review, pictures and the epic hydrophobic water behaviour.

Just be careful with the spray nozzle and give it a good shake before using as it spends to spew out over your fingers if you don't.

Thanks for the heads-up on that one.

I was reading the instructions on the spray can; seems the nozzle cleaning routine

at the end of every use, is very important to avoiding clogging and blockages.

Applied the ArtDeShine Nano Gloss Paint Sealant V2

Now..not sure it would work..Bit of an experiment

My car is protected with AB Hellshine Abyss on bare paint

Topped with Sonax BSD

Topped with Optishine Liquid Wax

Topped with Wet Glaze 2

Yes...I know...a lot

SO......... thanks to Neil (Codhead) applied a coat of ArtDeShine Nano Gloss Paint Sealant V2 to my Octavia today

Never used it before and not sure it would work as a QD over this amount of products...........

Sprayed a small amount onto a Chinese red sponge applicator pad and immediately wiped off with a MF cloth (Small area at a time)

What a finish!!

Slick, smooth and very reflective...Highly impressed!!

Now the wait begins to see if:

A) Affected the previous layer?

B) Beading characteristics...always one of my main prerequisites (I’ve seen QD's before ruin beading)

C) Less important to me, but might be to others; Durability

Hopefully this will show how much of a superior product NGPS is compared to others (ie BSD).

Didn't know you had this Chris.

Glad to hear it doesn't disappoint.

Beading of NGPS V2 is very good and IMO as good as BSD, I was quite suprised how well the water was flying off the car this weekend.  Alfred has really tweaked the formula from the original version and added excellent beading to the great gloss enhancing and slickness of V1.

I had Version 1 of this & it killed the beads. Alfred told me it was more of a sheeting product to be used over coatings rather than wax. Glad Alfred has added some magic beading potion to V2.

It's silly really that we all love those little beads of water but then complain when the sun dries them on the car leaving water marks! :sun:  :D

Totally agree, sheeting water away is better, but fanboys like beads.
