Hellshine The Abyss wax

Featured Replies

Ok finally got around to using this today.

I only bought a panel pot but at £9 for a sample I was wishing for something good.

I could not have been more happy with this product, it went on like butter and buffing was an absolute joy!

It's almost like a jelly/wax paste I've not seen one like it before, if you leave it somewhere hot expect to find it in liquid form. It smells like cinnamon so it's really nice to work with.

I applied by applicator sponge and buffed using purple monster MFC I could not believe my eyes when I stood back and looked at the shine, I'm blown away with this wax, I'm tempted to sell my other waxes now (watch this space ) forgot to mention I left it for the full 10 mins to cure.

Anyway judge for yourselves my car has never looked as good.

  • My sample pot arrived this morning. Guess what I am doing this Afternoon. Tony

  • Its done! Managed to get a single coat on the whole car above the sills, left it for 25mins before buffing due to the cold. After an hour I managed to get a second coat on the bonnet and wings but did

Great finish there Carl

I found it easy to apply but buffing was harder...It may have been warmer than today

I left it 10 minutes too....Its a great base for BSD though

I give my clients an option...

Im Detailing a BMW 535 on Saturday, so will offer that...due to the durability

I didn't know you had the wax version chris? I thought you had the Spray variant?

No..The tub...so to speak

Very nice finish, every product seems to be a good base for BSD lol

Thanks fellas, wish I had bought this sooner.

Great work Carl, I found the Spray easy to buff if you left for an exact ten minutes.

Gave great gloss, the car stayed looking clean for a long time due to the strong lotus effect. I stripped it long before the durability showed signs of giving up.

If it's anything like the Spray you probably used very little too.

I forget why I sold mine tbh

I got the sample pot mark and I will be honest with you I think I could do the whole car around 10+ times with it.

So now thinking £60 for the big tub is a steal. Although I will wait for a sale or discount as I want to feel I got a bargain.

I imagine the Spray must be a lot quicker to work with than the wax? Right mark?

I couldn't stop looking at the car today, I haven't had that feeling from a wax for a long time.

Lovely finish there Dinski, Abyss is a very good product.  Works really well on trim too.

Thanks codhead.

Just ordered the big tub of this, so I'm gonna sell some of my other waxes on here probably tonight.

And maybe a few QD's too.

I will link sales to this thread.

^^ all products above almost gone, grab what's left while you can.

After Dinski,s glowing report on this product I have ordered a sample pot. If I can get a shine on my Yeti like Dinski has done I will be well pleased.

I'm. Sure you will Tony, had you been closer you could have taken my sample pot to try, I've just purchased the big tub. I'm really looking forward to using it again.

Stick to a panel at a time and depending on heat/weather try give it the full 10 mins cure time recommend.

Have fun Tony.

Great advice, 10 minutes on a stopwatch is my advice for easy buffing.

If you keep good working discipline it is a joy to work with.

For those of you who must think I'm crazy calling it a jelly like paste and for those who are just interested, here are some pics of The abyss

Just topped up the hellshine abyss today after a drive to the east coast with hellshine rapid revenge QD.

The qd is really nice, it's very slick really glossy and a pleasure to use. Apparently it was made to go hand in hand with the abyss, and it really shows.

It's a good QD I would recommend. Durability is supposed to be really good also, but i think a lot of the hellshine range is based on durability.

Anyway a couple of pics with just a light spritz of Rapid Revenge added to the abyss.
