Mobile key cutting... Recommended

Featured Replies

Long story short... Needed a new key, coded to the car (obviously) and needed it today, rang a few local places and the only one to get back to me was www.thecarkeypeople.co.uk

Quoted me £95 to replace the transponder and code my key, or £120 to supply a new standard key, not a flip... Now I realise I could do this myself... a lot cheaper... But with no spare key to hand..and needing it now I was stuck, so I booked a same day appointment. Within 20 mins "carlo" had called to confirm he was on his way... I opted for a new key, so I could source a new transponder and sort it at a later date, so I would have a spare.... Carlo arrived.... Cut and coded my new key.... But also cut and coded a new flip blank and gave me that at no extra charge.... Now that is good service.... Would thoroughly recommend him.... Top bloke and got me out of the proverbial [emoji3]

Actionman39 does a group buy on here and can cut and programme keys send him a PM

cheers...should I ever need another.....

£120 for a standard key is robbery! i do flip remotes for less than that! ;)

Also how could you do it cheaper yourself? do you already have equipment to program transponders?

Hi,  I lost my key temporarily recently so now debating on owning a spare flip type or not as it would be emergency use only.  How much please?

Can't give a price without a location mate
