Hi all. My first post. Just bought a 2007 octavia vrs and noticed the radio signal on the factory fitted sterio is terrible. Is this common? Is their anything I can do to improve it?

It's most probably the aerial base that is the cause.

 

Quite a common fault.

Thanks for the reply. Will I need to replace the base?
