Another LED Question!

Featured Replies

I know, but I've finally discovered the DRL lights on my Yeti are PW24W and I've cracked how to remove them :)

Apparently a very non common bulb. But I have found a CREE LED replacement wich says it works on 99.9% of cars with no CANBUS issues.

It's rather pricey at a touch over £50 for the pair so wanted see if anyone had used these on Skoda models with the same bulbs?

Are there any other models using the pw24w bulb?

Iv never even heard of it before haha

It was a pain to get an answer! In the end I just got on with working out how to remove them and got the number myself!

They are common across the VAG group on most non-LED DRL models.

BMW also use the PW24W too.

The listing says they've tested them on Audi's with no issues...

This guy has fitted them to his Golf, it might just be me but they look to be flickering to me?

Ill Look forward to the update!

Hi DarrellGB,

Did you get the new bulbs? Any good?

Hi DarrellGB,

Did you get the new bulbs? Any good?

There have been lots of threads about LED replacement bulbs for the DRL's in the Yeti section.

Sometimes when people ask there, they get a very unwelcoming reception so they avoid the Yeti section.

Strange but true.

In the end I had to fit the resistors to get them working properly, don't think a true canbus friendly version exists for Skodas yet :(

Sad but true I'm afraid :(

Thank you, I'll leave as is then.
