Hi can anyone suggest where I can get or if they have for sale a rear spoiler for a mk1 vrs ( pref red).

I was I'm a mates garage and put the car on the ramp with the boot open. He raised it up and the spoiler smashed off the roof, he said he'd sort me out but don't want it to cost him a fortune. Thanks

I presume that model only came in one color of red.

Was two shades of red available

Any idea how to tell which is which?

Paint code on the sticker under the boot floor liner and also on the inside cover of the service schedule.

 

off the top of my head i cant remember but google will confirm what the code is.

Your colour is 8180 which is rally red

Thanks a mill everyone, it's a 2001 by the way and the trims seem to absorb back to black like a sponge, makes no difference.

I hope this corresponds to the spoiler that " missing myvrs" has.

It's a shame cos car scrubs up well and broken spoiler makes it look like a **** box

Take your trims off, give them a blast with a heat gun and treat with your choice of trim polish,

I just sold a silver one for £30.  I think I should have asked more lol
