Time to get rid just bought a insignia vx line red 63 plate spec is un real vrs to expensive second hand had mine two and a half years never had a repair bill cars is a taxi done over a hundred thousand mls now just hope insignia is as gd keep two year then hope to buy octavia vrs 3 .

I looked at the insignia as a possibility before we bought the Octy...

Talked to friends about them and came to the conclusion that they're basically an updated vectra.

I've had vectras in the past (and before that cavaliers) and had problems with every one (2 engines fatally damaged, one by big end cap through the sump & the other by cam belt failure, power steering and clutch failures on the vectras).

I've lost confidence in GM vehicles due to this and the last car I owned (lacetti which got scrapped last week due to needing more money spent on it than it was worth), coupled with family members having loads of problems with astras.

Boss at work has one 200 pounds a corner for tyres run flat i think, 150 pounds for valves as have pressure sensors in which does all tyres individualy.

Watch out for the tensioner going pop at 80ish and steering racks. We have loads in and it's a new engine job. Thats why most of us at vauxhall drive vag cars!
