Looking at changing the orange indicator bulbs for the chrome ones too lose the orange tint in the headlight. Has anyone else fitted them? Also any recommendations on which ones?

I got ones for my old Hyundai Coupe a few years ago, Just got from halfords, think they were called silverlight or something, never had a bother.

Not got any myself, but iv been meaning to get some 'philips silver vision' for a while.

I cant remember why, but after reading up i decided those there the ones i wanted. Something to do with the colour when off i think.

Ermm am I having déjà vue or have I just read this on DW I might try the suggestion of spraying a bulb just to see how it turns out tomorrow!

I've ised the cheap eBay ones for all of my cars no issues at all

Another vote for cheap ebay ones.

I bought the Silver Vision ones by Phillips for the Fabia, £10 a pair on eBay I think. Way cheaper than Halfords own, even with trade card discount. Still going a couple of years on.

Yep, as above. I've been using these on the mini for years. they always look better and the chromed coating often lasts longer than the orange lacquer in my experience.  Used to get top end ones from the motorfactors, switched to eBay's best priced ones a couple of years ago and there's no discernible difference.

Used rubberised wheel and trim paint

Fitted them this weekend! Front and rear, they look much better than the orange glow!
